The 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana is expected to arrive in the first half of November, though the official date has not been announced yet. The eligible farmers will receive the ₹2,000 payment as a part of their annual ₹6,000 benefit paid in three equal instalments.
In at least three states, including Uttarakhand, the farmers have already received the money. Meanwhile, over 28,000 farmers received ₹62 crore from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, marking a partial disbursement ahead of full roll-out. The advance payments were made to farmers as part of relief efforts and ahead of the larger payment push in states that suffered recent natural catastrophes.
