Veterans were honored Tuesday from one end of the county to the other at schools, restaurants, memorials and through educational programs.

Adam Hylton, a student at Grand Valley High School, shared his family’s military history that goes back generations and includes his grandfather, Dale Moyer, who served in Vietnam and later as a Secret Service agent protecting Camp David and other Washington D.C. venues.
