Tepuri Prathap Goud, 30, died by suicide a day before his wedding in Nizamabad following a family argument. Police registered a case based on his brother’s complaint and launched an investigation into the incident.

Nizamabad: Barely a day before his wedding, a 30-year-old man died by suicide after an argument with family members at Mangalpahad village in Yedapalli mandal on Tuesday night.

His marriage was scheduled for Thursday.

Police said Tepuri Prathap Goud, a farmer, ended his life by hanging from a tree following the quarrel. He was reportedly reluctant to get married and appeared disturbed after the family dispute over the same issue.

Following a complaint from his brother Srikanth, police registered a case and launched an investigation.
