'De De Pyar De 2' is gearing up to hit the screens this weekend. The Ajay Devgn starrer is expected to have a good opening on Friday, and the advance booking suggests it may just be able to do just that.

The film's advance booking opened on Tuesday, and as per the trade website Sacnilk, it sold around 5382 tickets for its opening day. As of 10 am on Wednesday, 'De De Pyar De 2' grossed around Rs 19.13 lakh for its Day 1, and Rs 1.37 crore with block seats.

The film, a romantic comedy sequel to the 2019 film, has a strong cast, including R Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, Javed Jaaferi and Meezan Jafri. The trailer of 'De De Pyar De 2' was received well, and therefore, the film is likely to wrap up a good total during its first weekend.
