MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The New England Patriots honored U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Jack Casey during their game against the Atlanta Falcons last week.
Casey, a Dover native, was killed in a helicopter crash in 2024.
Several Patriots players wore his initials, "JC," on the back of their helmets.

Casey's family attended a team practice, where they met players and coaches.
"It was really nice to have someone from the Patriots representing him because he played football when he was a kid, and he just would've totally loved that they did that, and they seemed very receptive to doing it and very honored to do it," said Casey's mother, Cathy.
Four other families were also recognized by the Patriots.
