Pi Kappa Alpha scholarships announced

JONESBORO — Pi Kappa Alpha Scholarship Board announces the recipients of the Slayton Family Scholarships for the academic year 2025-26. These scholarships are awarded for Leadership, Scholarship, Integrity, and Character to members and associates of the Delta Theta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at Arkansas State University. The Slayton Family Scholarships are in honor of Joe Slayton and his late wife, Christy Flynn Slayton. Both are graduates of A-State. Joe was a record-setting punter for the ASU Football Team and was previously named a Distinguished Alumni at Arkansas State University and an Athletic Hall of Honor Inductee.
