For the first time in 25 years, Aspen Community Theatre will present a play (as opposed to a musical) when it pulls the curtain up on Neil Simon’s “Rumors” Thursday night at the Wheeler Opera House.
The play runs at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Traditionally, ACT plays have run for two consecutive weekends in Aspen. This year, the second weekend’s performances will take place at the Ute Theatre in Rifle, also a first for the company. Those performances take place Nov. 13-16 with Thursday-Saturday shows at 7 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
