Halifax has issued a warning over a £2,500 rule for customers. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, a customer grilled the bank about what its policies are with regard to withdrawing cash over the counter and if there is a "set amount" regarding how much you can take out.

In response, the bank said: "The limit per day is £2,500 without notice. Anything over that needs to be pre-ordered with a minimum of 48 hours."
