A neuroscientist has explained why you could be waking during the night and what steps you can take to stop it. Struggling with sleep is fairly common, with the NHS reporting that one in three people will experience it at some stage in their lives. ‌

Beyond leaving us exhausted and short-tempered, persistent sleep problems can affect our health if they continue over an extended period. This is why making sleep a priority matters. ‌
