BOSTON — The Bruins ' win streak reached seven on Tuesday night with a 5-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs — the second over their rival in as many games — at TD Garden.
David Pastrnak scored his 400th career goal in the second period in the win.
The first period saw four goals — three from the Bruins — including two on the power play. The first came from Pavel Zacha when the puck pinballed off his skate and past Anthony Stolarz.
Toronto got one back two minutes later with a shorthanded goal from Steven Lorentz to make it a 1-1 game after Charlie McAvoy got his pocket picked.
Hampus Lindholm made it 2-1 with a power play goal of his own before New Hampshire native Alex Steeves scored his first goal as a Bruin and against his former Maple Leafs team to give Boston a 3-1
