Sunrisers Hyderabad entered IPL 2025 with plenty of hopes after finishing runners-up last year. With two of the most explosive batters in their ranks, SRH started the season as title favourites, and they began the season with a win. However, it turned out to be a below-par season given the talent they had at their disposal. They finished sixth despite the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Heinrich Klassen, Pat Cummins, and Ishan Kishan in their ranks. SRH were plagued by inconsistency, and by the time they managed to stitch together three wins in a row, it was too late.

It’s possible that a few high-profile players could be released ahead of the IPL mini-auction.
