Udupi, Nov 12: An unidentified man who collapsed near Parkala town was found lying unconscious and was immediately shifted to the Ajjarakadu District Hospital by social worker Nityanand Volakadu in an ambulance.

Doctors at the hospital examined him and declared him dead. The body has been preserved in the district hospital mortuary.

Relatives or anyone with information about the deceased are requested to contact the Citizen Help Centre at the district hospital or the Manipal police station.

An Aadhaar card recovered from the deceased bears the name Damodar Gowda (50), Santattu House, Badagayipadavu, Mangaluru.
