A man has been jailed after he stabbed two people with a pair of scissors in a park.
Abdulrahin Abbker launched the attack after an argument broke out in May this year, a court heard.
The 25-year-old approached the victims in Hanley Park before pulling the scissors out of his bag and stabbed a man in the stomach.

He went on to stab a second man in the leg.
Both victims were rushed to hospital where they went on to make full recoveries.
Abbker, of Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded guilty to two counts of wounding and one count of possessing a bladed article in a public place at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday, November 5.
He was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
