New Delhi: Apart from a few special editions that came down like the Mk IV, the second generation of Ford GT production more or less ended in 2022. Following a success for six years, the brand decided to retire their flagship two-door performance car, and at that point, it seemed there was no successor coming any time soon at all.

However, this all might soon change with Ford now announcing their newly rebranded Racing division close to unveiling a new “production road car” next year. While not much is known, there are hopes that it could be the next generation of the GT. In their statement, Ford said that it was “a testament to how deeply we’re integrating our racing innovation into the vehicles you drive every day.”
