The winter season is upon us, and as well as Christmassy cheer, many Brits will be familiar with the nuisance that are coughs and colds.
Covid and flu are both circulating at the moment, but one flu strain has particularly been flagged as one to keep a close eye on this festive season.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has identified strain H3N2 as a virus which "can kill," with health professionals urging parents to give their children the flu vaccine nasal spray.
This vital advice comes as the flu made its arrival in Britain a month earlier this year, with the NHS stressing the importance of eligible people taking up their free flu jab.
