Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has appointed two new members to the Child Lead Exposure Elimination Commission .
Dr. Jennifer McDonald of Ann Arbor and Maggie Kabore of Milan joined the commission for terms Nov. 6, according to a community announcement.
McDonald is a pediatrician at Trinity Health IHA Medical Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Chicago, a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School.
McDonald will serve as a physician on the commission, succeeding Allison Dickson, who resigned.
Kabore is a nurse coordinator at the Washtenaw County Health Department. She has an associate degree in nursing from Washtenaw Community Coll
