The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in two suspected hate-motivated incidents. The first incident occurred on September 15 in the Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West area. Police received a report of harassment involving three youth victims on a TTC bus. The suspect, described as a female with blond hair, was wearing a beanie hat and made harassing comments to the victims.

On October 31, another incident was reported in the same area. A youth victim was on a TTC bus when the suspect boarded and began to engage with them. The suspect again made harassing remarks before exiting the bus at Bathurst Street and Laurelcrest Avenue. In this case, the suspect was described as a female with black hair, wearing a black jacket, a red sweater, and a beanie hat.

Investigators have concluded that the same individual is responsible for both incidents. An image of the suspect has been released to aid in the investigation. The police are treating these incidents as suspected hate-motivated offences, and the Hate Crime Unit is leading the investigation.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to them at 416-808-3500 or to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
