A neuroscientist has shed light on why you might be waking up in the middle of the night and how to prevent it.

It's not uncommon to have difficulty sleeping - in fact, the NHS states that one in three of us will experience it at some point in our lives.

Aside from making us feel tired and irritable, prolonged sleep issues can impact our health. Therefore, prioritising your sleep is crucial.

One expert explained that some individuals may be regularly waking up at a specific time and struggling to get back to sleep. In a conversation with Doctor Mark Hyman, neuroscientist Dr Andrew Huberman, shared his advice.
