The Celtics played another close game against the 76ers, but once again, they faltered in a clutch game. The C’s have done well to play in multiple close games this season, but executing down the stretch has been another issue.
This time, the Sixers came away with the 102-100 win over the Celtics on Tuesday in Philadelphia. Kelly Oubre’s put-back layup was the difference in the game. Afterwards, Jaylen Brown blamed himself for the loss, saying he wasn’t good enough as the Celtics fell to 5-7 on the season.
“Just little possessions, little stuff throughout the game we have to be better at,” Brown told reporters, via CLNS Media . “Tonight was not a good example of that. Poor performance by me on both sides of the ball. I let my guys down tonight.”
