ALTAMONT, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative has responded to customer complaints about blinking lights in Grundy County.
Residents say they have seen blinking and dimming lights in their homes.
SVEC officials say blinking usually means that the electric system is fixing problems.
But persistent blinking could mean there is a problem.
So their linemen and engineers inspected every pole in a 10 mile span of their transmission line.
They even used drones to get a closer look at the polls.
SVEC officials say they were able to identify the problem (but they did not say what it was).
And they say if you have a similar experience with blinking lights, call them so they can check it out.
