The Columbia Public Schools board of education took a closer look at the results of its annual performance report Monday evening, Nov. 10.
Though there still is room for improvement, there has been significant growth in academic areas, said Shelli Adams, executive director of school improvement, during a review with the board.
Dave Wilson, executive director of assessment intervention, data and innovation, took a look at individual school scores. Out of all district schools, 18 made improvements in their individual performance reports and eight schools had scores above 90%.
