Kaye Adams has said she is no longer going to allow a BBC inquiry into allegations that she bullied colleagues to drag her down.
The BBC Radio Scotland presenter is off air amid an investigation into her conduct , after reports that she allegedly "shouted and screamed" at staff members.
Adams, 62, has revealed she has endured "the most wretched five weeks" since the claims emerged and told of the toll it has taken on her family life.
She insisted she is " not the person that I was painted as " and was now finding "joy" again after spending a weekend with her eldest daughter in London.
Adams, who also presents ITV's Loose Women, was taken off her morning show on Radio Scotland last month after junior staff members reported her under the BBC's C
