Director Ram Gopal Varma publicly apologised to Sushma, a child actor involved in a well-known stunt sequence from his debut film 'Shiva' , thirty-six years after the film's release. This apology, issued on Wednesday, follows Varma's acknowledgement of the risks Sushma endured as a child during the filming of the movie's iconic cycle chase scene. The film, which went on to become a cult classic, featured a scene where the lead character, played by Nagarjuna, is attacked while cycling with his niece, portrayed by Sushma, adding tension and danger to the sequence.
