RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a home invasion in Raleigh.

In the 1600 block of Rose Lane, authorities say a man attempted to enter the residence but was injured during the incident.

It remains unclear whether the occupants of the home were involved in the altercation.

The suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment, and the investigation is ongoing.
