An Akron man has been indicted on charges he fired a gun in late October at a Kent bar .

Jack Massie III, 19, is charged in Portage County with having weapons under disability, possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises and tampering with evidence, all third-degree felonies; inducing panic and carrying concealed weapons, both fourth-degree felonies; and first-degree misdemeanor aggravated menacing.

The weapons under disability charge stems from Massie's prior felonious assault conviction in Summit County. Felons are not permitted to own firearms. All of the felony charges include a firearm forfeiture specifications for a .45-caliber handgun.
