A yellow weather warning has been issued as Cambridgeshire is set to be hit by "heavy and prolonged" rain. The Met Office has put a weather warning in place starting from 6am on Friday, November 14, and will last until 6am on Saturday, November 15.
It is expected that 30 to 50 mm of rain will fall in most areas covered by the warning. Some places will get 60 to 80 mm of rain. There will also be strong easterly winds that will ease on Saturday morning.
The Met Office has said the rain could cause power cuts and loss of other services to homes and business. There is a small chance of buildings being flooded.
Spray and flooding could also lead to "difficult" driving conditions with a possibility that some roads could be closed. Some bus and train services could be delayed or cancelled.
