FAIRMONT — The federal government shutdown may reaching its end, but that doesn’t mean the need will evaporate overnight.
“This doesn’t deter the mission in any way,” Pastor Ronnie Hampton said. “Even though the government may reopen, there are people still out there that are going to fall short. SNAP benefits are just a band aid on the issue. Here in the richest country in the history of man, there are people out there that are hungry everyday. Children.”
