The Kent State University football team regrouped after a big Akron comeback and beat the Zips 42-35 lead in overtime.
Dru DeShields threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Ardell Banks in overtime to help the Flashes beat the Zips for the first time since 2022.
Kent State led by as many as 18 in the fourth quarter.
