DULUTH — On the third floor of the Damiano Center, a student-run clinic has found a new, but temporary, home. Run by students from the University of Minnesota Medical School's Duluth Campus and College of Pharmacy, the Hope Clinic has continued to provide free medical services for those in need, while its former location at the Chum shelter undergoes renovations.
“It’s an opportunity that a lot of the medical and pharmacy students are aware of, and get involved volunteering at the clinic,” said Clinic Director Jocie Larson, a second-year medical student. “It’s something that a lot of us are excited to take part in, and I like to think it makes an impact on the community.”
