Bristol police commissioner issues statement as 'major incident' appeal launched View Image
The police and crime commissioner for Avon and Somerset has issued a statement after seven men were charged over alleged child sexual exploitation in Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police said this morning that the CPS has now authorised charges against seven men suspected of more than 40 offences between them, dating between 2022 and 2025.
The charges relate to 11 victims in total, who were aged in the mid to late teens at the time. Police and crime commissioner Clare Moody confirmed a dedicated public appeal is now live on the force's 'major incident' portal, as the investigation continues.
