The Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Delhi University to submit its objections regarding the delay in filing appeals against an August order that had set aside the disclosure of details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bachelor of Arts degree from 1978, Live Law reported.

A division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela granted the university three weeks to submit its response but refrained from issuing notice in the matter.

The court was hearing appeals filed by Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh, Right to Information activist Neeraj Sharma and advocate Mohammad Irshad.
