New Delhi: In a fresh lead in the Red Fort car blast probe, investigators have found that the suspects connected to the Hyundai i20 used in the explosion on November 10 were in possession of another car.

The red Ford EcoSport, with registration number DL10CK0458, is registered under the name of Umar Un Nabi, also known as Dr Umar Mohammad, who was listed as the second owner of the vehicle.

The car was registered at Delhi’s Rajouri Garden RTO on November 22, 2017.

Umar reportedly used a fake address in northeast Delhi to acquire the vehicle, according to India Today. The current whereabouts of the car are unknown.
