BBC Studios Appoints AI Creative Lab Chief Alice Taylor

Alice Taylor has been appointed head of BBC Studios ‘ newly-launched AI Creative Lab.

The exec joins from Disney, where she led the StudioLAB program. In her new role, Taylor will execute the “strategic roadmap” for the BBC ‘s AI studio, serving as the principle advocate for AI in creative production.

At a time where fear is heightened around AI’s impact on the industry and just how much it might come to dominate our content, Taylor will ensure the Lab’s output is “innovative, ethical, editorially sound and technically robust.”
