Local groups in Corinth join hands to help community members impacted by govt. shutdown

CORINTH, Maine (WABI) - Cub Scouts have a well established tradition of giving back to the community of Corinth, and this year will be no exception.

The uncertainty surrounding SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown in Washington also means some Mainers may not receive their benefits for the holiday season.

This has prompted the group to try and go bigger and better with its Annual Thanksgiving Baskets Drive.
