Scottish TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher broke down in tears at court whilst battling a driving ban.
The Edinburgh-born presenter was stripped of her licence, despite pleading she had "no confidence" using public transport and needed her car to transport her family. During a hearing, she was banned from driving for six months.
She revealed that police believe a recent assault on her in Central London two weeks prior was a "targeted attack."
Kirsty, 49, was nabbed speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Maiden's Green, Berkshire, on April 1, just after 8am.
During the emotional hearing at High Wycombe magistrates' court, Kirsty had tried to secure a driving ban exemption citing exceptional hardship, reports the Mirror .
