Cadbury fans were baffled after spotting the way one of its most famous bars of chocolate was really made. The iconic and historic British chocolatier is a beloved staple for countless people, with an enduring legacy which spans generations .

Originally founded in 1824, Cadbury soon established itself as a titan of industry, becoming one of the most famous confectionery brands on the planet, with many of its products instantly recognisable. There’s the classic Dairy Milk, which boasts different flavour concoctions and combinations to enhance its appeal.

There’s also the Flake, which was first developed in 1920 after factory worker Ralph Thompson is said to have noticed thin ripples of excess chocolate which had fallen from the moulds and cooled down into flaky chocolate
