A North Lanarkshire contract research organisation (CRO) has celebrated a decade of innovative business, having developed cutting-edge biotech platforms and secured a multi-million-pound investment.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Andy Upsall, RoukenBio (originally known as Antibody Analytics) began with a focus on biosimilars and antibody characterisation. Over time, RoukenBio has expanded into discovery-phase immunology and custom cell engineering.
The Motherwell-based company began with just three employees and, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary on November 24, now has a team of more than 110, working with customers in over 27 countries.
