The commuter rail station in Foxboro , Massachusetts, is getting a major upgrade with just about seven months until Gillette Stadium plays host to seven World Cup matches.

Right now, the MBTA stop that serves Gillette Stadium is undergoing a $35 million renovation project to accommodate the tens of thousands of World Cup fans that will be attending each of the matches next summer.

Part of the upgrades include doubling the capacity, building a temporary platform on one side and a new permanent one on the other. It's all so the T can move 20,000 fans per match.
