While the traditional game of football is played with 11 players on each side, for a total of 22 on the field at once, there is a world where smaller schools that can't get the same turnout as their larger counterparts play with only eight players per side.

The sport of 8-player football is not a lesser sport, in fact if you have never been to an 8-player football game, you are missing out on an amazing spectacle. It tends to be higher scoring, more run-and-gun, and much more exciting. We here in Lenawee County are fortunate to not only have one 8-player football program, but we also have three in Britton Deerfield, Lenawee Christian and Morenci.
