Kolkata: Real estate has traditionally enjoyed a status of a long-term asset, either for appreciation in value or rent generation or both. Then financial instruments captured the imagination of Indian investors. Shankesh Sanghvi, MD of Sanghvi Realty has told News9live that there are signs of renewed faith in real estate among a vast section of investors.
“Across metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru, we’re witnessing a visible capital reallocation. Investors are increasing their real estate exposure by nearly 10–15% within their portfolios. For many HNIs and upper-middle-class families, property is no longer just an investment — it’s the foundation of financial stability,” Shankesh Sanghvi, MD of Mumbai-based Sanghvi Realty said.
