MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A hiker recently shared video showing mid-winter conditions near the top of the region’s highest peak.

The summit of Mount Washington already has a bit of snow.

Paul Noel said video shared on u local shows him approaching the Mount Washington Observatory an hour before sunset on Saturday.

He encountered snow and strong wind gusts, but commented, "Fall in the White Mountains."
