GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The northern lights created a dazzling display across ENC skies overnight.

Thanks to a geomagnetic storm, parts of the United States were able to get a glimpse of the stunning hues of pinks and purples.

Many residents here in eastern Carolina snapped some pictures to remember the view.

Viewer Madelynn Hawkins sent over this photo from Hyde County late Tuesday night.
