LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Laurel County man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he assaulted a woman in a motel parking lot.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old David Fisher was arrested Monday outside a business near West Cumberland Gap Parkway.
Deputies say Fisher allegedly bit and hit a woman during an argument, leaving visible injuries. He’s also accused of twisting her arm during the altercation.
Investigators say Fisher appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time. In addition to assault, he’s charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
