A Gavin and Stacey favourite has shared a health update after having a "very bad" fall. ‌

Alison Steadman is known for playing Pam Shipman in the hit BBC comedy from 2007 to 2010. She also returned to the role for the Christmas specials in 2019 and 2024. ‌

Earlier this year, the 79-year-old suffered a suspected hairline fracture of her right leg and injured her right hand in a fall at an event in the Dubai desert. She was left in "a lot of pain" and had to use a wheelchair during her recovery. ‌

Alison appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Wednesday (November 12), where she shared a health update with host Lorraine Kelly.

"Now, I have to ask you, because you had an accident. You had a fall, and it was quite bad. How are you doing?" Lorraine asked. ‌
