SAN ANTONIO — There is a new world record holder in San Antonio.
Mike Egan, a U.S. Marine veteran, started his attempt to break the world record for the farthest distance covered in a wheelchair in 24 hours on Monday.
Not only did he break the previous record of 113.4 miles, but he also shattered it by traveling 152.36 miles.
USAA is proud to sponsor Egan's effort and honor his service, resilience, and commitment to pushing beyond perceived limits.
Congratulations to Mike and thank you for your service
