BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan City Council held a workshop meeting on Tuesday, where they were briefed on a number of things, but no major decisions were made at this meeting.

The first item discussed was the updates coming to Travis Major Field, including a revamp of the in-field, which Deputy City Manager Hugh Walker said will cost around $140,000.

“We want to make sure the home plate and the bases, in particular, are well taken care of. And so probably a good part of [the infield], if not all of it, will be replaced,” Walker explained.

When asked what project within the Travis Field revamp Walker was most excited for, he said making the field safe was his top priority.
