Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday evening chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) following the blast at Delhi’s Red Fort. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar were present at the meeting.

Sources said the CCS is reviewing the investigation into the Red Fort blast, reports from security agencies, and the government’s future security strategy.

Modi had also convened a CCS meeting before Operation Sindoor and after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
