BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - A Georgetown woman is dead after she was hit by a vehicle and left on the side of the road.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 30-year-old Kerstin Walker. She died at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Walker was flown by Air Care to UC Medical Center with serious injuries after she was hit by a vehicle on State Route 286 in Sterling Township on Nov. 5, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Georgetown post.
The victim was walking on SR-286 near Upper Five Mile Road when an unknown vehicle struck her and drove away at 8:21 p.m., OSHP said in a press release.
Walker was later found lying off to the side of the road.
