The Mumbai Cricket Association has said that there has still been no communication from Rohit Sharma about his participation in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy, according to a report in PTI. Earlier in the day, a report claimed the opposite, saying that Rohit had confirmed his availability for the tournament.

The Vijay Hazare Trophy is scheduled to take place across Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jaipur and Bengaluru from December 25 to January 18, with the knockout games all set to be held at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

A senior Mumbai Cricket Association official confirmed to PTI that they haven’t received any communication from Rohit .

“There has been no communication as far as I am aware," the official told PTI.
