Police are investigating a fatal crash on the Arrigoni Bridge on Tuesday night.

The collision occurred on the Portland side of the bridge where crews were on the scene for hours investigating, the Portland Police Department wrote in a social media post shortly after 10:30 p.m.

The bridge was closed while police conducted what they described as a “complex” investigation.

In a post made around 7 a.m., police said the bridge had reopened for motorists sometime overnight.
